my mousey brown,
her golden hair -
or fur, I mean (that's
her, not me)
And then there's
how we both like trees.
Me the green, the
freshness and peace -
her to urinate and
mark her place.
We love affection,
scratches and kisses.
On many occasions
we're referred to as bitches.
(needs more but I ran out of inspiration)
Odd thing to notice, or maybe not really, is that you have a parenthesis going across a line break. It works fine. I have no complaints. Yet I noticed it right away, and at the risk of sounding generic and useless, I *liked* what I saw.
ReplyDeleteI like poems about pets! I think I'd change out urinate to pee. It just flows nicely with the peace about it and the place below it.. but that's just me. It's super cute as it is :)
